THE GREAT FIRE OF THE PURPLE ROBE
250 Years ago inTokio.
Wine Seller’s family went to the temple.
The daugther saw a handsome samurai in a purple robe. She fell in love and never saw him again.
She ordered a bright purple robe, so maybe the samurái could notice her. But she never saw him again, she felt ill and died.

Family took the robe to the temple for sell it. A Young woman bought it but also felt ill and died. She said that the face of a handsome samurai was hunting her.

The priest sold it again, the same happenend three times.

The priest decided to burn the robe as he thought it had bad spirits.
While burning, bright characters of the girl’s pray to buddha. “Please let me win his love” jumped to the roof of the temple. It because bigger and bunt the whole city.




THE TRAVELLING PRIEST AND THE DEAD BODY
Buddhist muso kokushi.
Once walking, he got lost and found and old priest in a hut. He said “no more room here” but go to next village.
Muso found the village. He was received in the headman’s house with food and a bed.

Midnight he was woken up by the oldest son. The headman had died and now they had to go to next village. Leaving the dead body in the house.

The son said :”you’re welcome to go with us a weird things happen in a house with dead bodies”, but as you’re a priest, perhaps you want to stay to say prayers for that.
Muso stayed saying prayers.

Then, a big shadow shape came in to the room and ate the dead body and all food around it, then left.

Villagers came back. Muso teld the story of big shape and they were not suprised.



Muso asked about the old priest in the hut. The villages said there was no priest at all!.
When muso left village, he went to the hut and found the old priest.
The old priest said:”I’m sorry you saw me last night eating the dead body”.
His temple history is:
Long time ago people use to bring him their dead relatives to say prayers for them. But he was a bad priest, he only thought of the food and clothes he got for doing so.

After he died, he was punished in a new life as a big shape that ate the dead.
Old priest asked muso for prayers and then slowly disappeared.
